William A. Lascara practices in Business and Commercial Law. He manages his practice from the firm’s Virginia Beach office. Mr. Lascara is a Managing Shareholder and the Chief Financial Officer of the firm.
He received his Juris Doctorate from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in 1983. He graduated from the University of Virginia where he received his Bachelor’s of Arts in Government and History in 1980. He is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of Virginia, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, , the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. He is involved in numerous professional organizations, including the Virginia State Bar Construction Law and Public Contracts Section, the Virginia State Bar Real Estate, Real Property and Business Law Section, the Norfolk-Portsmouth Bar Association, and the Virginia Beach Bar Association. He also currently serves on the Council of the Construction and Public Contract Law Section of the Virginia Bar Association. He has frequently lectured in the areas of construction and public contracts law. Lascara was voted as one of Virginia’s “Legal Elite” for Construction Law in Virginia Business Magazine. He was previously the Chief Financial Officer for The Jonathan Corporation, as well as the founding shareholder for Lascara & Associates before he became a shareholder, Chief Financial Officer and a Managing Shareholder for Pender & Coward. |
