Workers Compensation
Public Sector: Serving State & Local Government Employers
Private Sector: Serving Business & Corporate Employers
Pender & Coward established its Workers’ Compensation Practice Group as a natural outgrowth of the firm’s extensive background and experience in municipal law and in representing various agencies of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The firm is appointed by the Office of the Virginia Attorney General to represent the Commonwealth in matters involving the Uninsured Employer’s Fund, the Criminal Injuries Compensation Fund and other employer agencies of the state in matters heard and decided by the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission. We are available to serve private business employers in Workers’ Compensation claims matters as well as City and County government. All lawyers in our Group bring to the job valuable experience in litigation, are personable and have excellent skills in legal research and writing.
Pender & Coward’s Workers’ Compensation Group is sensitive to the costs associated with legal services in this field of the law and offers competitive fees for responsive professional services. The Practice Group can be reached at (757) 502-7345.
The Workers’ Compensation Practice Group is staffed by dedicated attorneys already appointed to serve state government within a firm also known for serving local government and private business employers.
