Pender & Coward's attorneys have broad experience across the full range of bankruptcy representation, appear regularly in the bankruptcy courts of the Eastern District of Virginia as well as in bankruptcy courts in a number of other states. The firm has represented debtors and creditors in matters ranging from simple consumer Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases to complex Chapter 11 matters. These include single asset real estate cases, cash collateral proceedings, motions for relief from stay, creditor plans of business reorganization, and defense of preferential transfer and other avoidance actions.
