Pender & Coward Welcomes Associate Jessica M. Booth

Virginia Beach, Va. – Jessica M. Booth has joined Pender & Coward as an associate with the firm, focusing her practice on Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning and Administration, as well as the field of Elder Law. 

Booth earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Mary Washington College. She was admitted to practice in Virginia in 2004.

Booth is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Beach Bar Association and the Norfolk-Portsmouth Bar Association. She is a charter member of Elder Care Matters and is also a member of several community organizations, including the Beach Fund of the Hampton Roads Community Foundation, West Ghent Civic League and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. 

Booth has co-authored several articles, including “Estate Administration Procedures: Why Each Step Is Important,” National Business Institute, Inc. (2011); "Premarital Issues in Second Marriages: What to Plan for the Second Time Round," National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc. (2010); and "Estate, Financial and Health Care Planning for Elder Clients," National Business Institute, Inc. (2008).
