
Bryan Peeples Appointed to Virginia Beach Stormwater Implementation Advisory Group
Virginia Beach, Va. – Pender & Coward attorney Bryan Peeples has been appointed by the Virginia Beach City Council to serve as a member of the Virginia Beach Stormwater Implementation Advisory Group. The group will provide recommendations regarding how best to balance the need for stormwater management and flooding protection with development and redevelopment opportunities.
Bryan focuses his practice on maritime and riparian law, eminent domain/right of way law, and environmental law. He is a member of the firm's waterfront law practice group and writes blog articles regularly on waterfront (riparian) property rights law, maritime and admiralty law, and environmental law. He has been recognized among Coastal Virginia’s Top Lawyers, Virginia’s Legal Elite, Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch, and Super Lawyers Rising Stars.
Before joining the firm in 2018, Bryan retired from the U.S. Navy after 22 years of service as a pilot. He completed seven combat deployments and served as the Commanding Officer of a helicopter squadron.
