
Kerry Stolz Elected President of Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association
Virginia Beach, Va. – Pender & Coward attorney Kerry Stolz has been elected President of the Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association. Kerry was sworn in as President on May 14, 2026, at the NPBA Annual Meeting held at the Norfolk Yacht & Country Club. The NPBA is one of the largest bar associations in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is celebrating its 126th year of serving the legal profession, judiciary, and the public.
Kerry has served on the NPBA Executive Committee since 2022 and previously served as the NPBA’s Young Lawyer Section Chair. She has been actively involved in several NPBA committees since starting her law practice, including multiple years spent serving as a Chair of the CLE Committee.
In addition to her involvement with the NPBA, Kerry is active in her local community. She served on the City of Chesapeake Board of Zoning Appeals from 2020-2021. She has held multiple leadership positions with the Junior League Norfolk-Virginia Beach and currently serves as President of Delta Gamma’s Virginia Tidewater Alumnae Chapter. Kerry is a graduate of James Madison University and holds two degrees from JMU, a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Teaching. Kerry graduated from Vermont Law School and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America and among Virginia’s Legal Elite, Virginia Super Lawyers Rising Stars and Coastal Virginia’s Top Lawyers. Kerry focuses most of her practice on workers' compensation, insurance defense, and civil litigation.
