
Nick Thompson Joins Pender & Coward and Expands Estate Planning and Family Law Practices
Virginia Beach, Va. – Pender & Coward is pleased to announce that Nick Thompson has joined the firm as an attorney focusing his practice on advising ultra-high and high net worth individuals and families on a broad range of very complex estate planning concerns, guardianship and conservatorship matters and adoptions.
Nick currently serves as an Adjunct Professor leading the University of Richmond School of Law’s Aging & Disability Practicum, and he previously served as an Adjunct Professor and the Director of William & Mary Law School’s Elder & Disability Law Clinic. Nick regularly gives continuing legal education seminars on topics in guardianship and conservatorship matters.
Prior to joining Pender & Coward, Nick practiced in two large international law firms, and he played professional baseball in the St. Louis Cardinal’s organization before attending law and business schools. Nick received his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from William & Mary Law School and graduated summa cum laude from East Carolina University.
