Valerie Williams Appointed to Board of Directors of HRALA

Virginia Beach, Va. – Pender & Coward firm administrator Valerie Williams has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Hampton Roads Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators. She will serve as vice president for 2012-13.
The mission of the Association of Legal Administrators is to promote and enhance the competence and professionalism of all members of the legal management team, improve the quality of management in law firms and other legal service organizations and represent professional legal management and managers to the legal community and to the community at large.
“It is an honor to have been elected as Vice President of HRALA and I look forward to working with other Hampton Roads Administrators to achieve the goals of this organization,” says Williams of her appointment.
The Hampton Roads Chapter of the ALA was chartered in September 1979 and currently has close to 40 active members representing law firms, corporate legal departments, and government agencies throughout the Tidewater region of Virginia.
