Williams Appointed President of HRALA

Virginia Beach, Va. - Pender & Coward firm administrator Valerie Williams has been appointed president of the Hampton Roads Association of Legal Administrators (HRALA).
The HRALA was chartered in September 1979, and today its members represent law firms, corporate legal departments and government agencies throughout the region. The organization provides a forum for members to harness collective talents and abilities in support of the legal community and the community at large.
At Pender & Coward, Williams oversees day-to-day operations in all three of the firm’s offices. She has a background in business administration and accounting as well as extensive knowledge of law firm automation and administration. She has been an active member of the HRALA for more than 10 years and prior to her appointment as president served as vice president (2011-2012) and president-elect (2012-2013).
